Nurturing Parenting Program Classes

 

Our staff is trained in the Nurturing Parenting Program, which is an evidence based initiative teaching family-centered trauma-informed program designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abuse and neglecting parent and child-rearing practices.  The long term goals are to prevent recidivism in families receiving social services, lowering the rate of multi-parent teenage pregnancies, reduced the rate of juvenile delinquency and alcohol and drug abuse, and to stop the intergenerational cycle of child abuse by teaching positive parenting behaviors.

 

We offer recurring classes throughout the year, with a variety of class times offered to best match scheduling needs of parents involved. These classes are available to individuals that have been State mandated as well as to private pay individuals looking to learn and grow as a parent.  Please call our office at (406)256-7783 for our current schedule and to sign up.
