FSN provides parenting tips, resources on parenting such as classes, pamphlets, videos, child development, nutritional information, and community resources.

"Nurturing Parenting" is a group-based program where parents learn about recognizing and understanding feelings.

FSN provides materials about child development and helps participants learn nurturing parenting routines, ways to encourage appropriate behaviors, as well as alternatives to hitting.

  • Curriculum covers material related to appropriate child-rearing techniques, realistic expectations, empathy toward children and other family members, alternatives to corporal punishment, better family relationships and appropriate family roles.
  • New sessions start every two weeks from the beginning starting April 14th.
  • Classes are offered every Wednesday from 1-3pm or 6-8pm.
  • Child care is provided.
